Tanner and Kelsea

They other day Kelsea asked Tanner to come
talk to her soccer team. Her team is
a new team that is coming together. They
have had a hard time starting out. The first
two games they lost. They were not playing to
their potential, but also not playing as a
team. I was surprised that Tanner would go do
it, but then I thought, 20 sixteen and seventeen
year old beautiful girls. Whatever his reason
he has won over all of them. He went and shared
his trials and struggles. After this all the
girls decided to write Tanners name on their cleats.
Even the coach! Tanner has now come to all their
games. He is one of their biggest fans (also gets
alot of support from them). Whatever it was these
girls have won every game. Not by one point, but have
scored 5 to 7 points. One of the players came over
to Tanner and shared that when she scored the goal
she thought of him. Wow, have we all learned alot!

Tanner,
I simply can't decide who is the luckiest in these pictures. All of these gorgeous accomplished lovely ladies having this amazing, strong, handsome young man and great athlete sitting in the middle of them, or that same amazing, strong, handsome young man and great athlete being able to be the one to get to sit between all of them. In my heart of hearts I know the true answer is they are the ones who are the luckiest of the lucky to have you as their biggest fan and mentor. You surely honor them by your presence. And you are just so cute!!!!
What a great story! And you belong right in the middle!

P.S. Deuteronomy 10:12
And now,Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all
thy heart and with all thy soul.
President Hinkley concluded:
I don't worry too much about the future, and I don't worry very much about the past. The past is gone, and you can't change, you can't correct it. The future, you can anticipate, but you can't necessarily do very much about it. It is the present you have to deal with. Reach out for every good opportunity to do what you ought to do.
Tanner, I see you do this as you continue to excell in all of the present activities you participate in. From your physical training as you reach new heights with unwavering determination and as you give of your self to these teams and groups who need your counsel and perspective. You are truly one who is not afraid to reach out for every good you can do. You are blessing the lives of so many!
Love to you,
Brenda
